Pastor Dennis & Conni Chasteen are the senior leaders of New Life Assembly and have served in this capacity for the past 9 years. Dennis has been a minister of the Gospel for nearly 30 years with an overwhelming passion for prayer. His ability to communicate the Word of God effectively is evidenced by that passion. He and Conni have a desire to see Jesus glorified through the release of signs, wonders and miracles. They want to see many come and stay in the knowledge of Christ through His healing mercies and undeniable grace; that the love of God would be demonstrated in them and through them for His delight. Conni serves on the worship team and facilitates other areas of ministry including web development and audio reproduction. They are the parents of 4 young boys with no dull moments.
Margaret, Gene’s wife, is the principal at New Life Christian Academy which is an inter-denominational Christian school that was established by our church in 1985. The school serves students from three surrounding counties with grades Pre-K thru 12th. They are the parents of two children; Bill Campbell, II of Summersville and Allison Campbell Richter of Hamburg, Germany.

Pastor
Gene Campbell, who is a credentialed and licensed Assembly of God minister,
has held the position of Associate Pastor at New Life Assembly since 2003.
He is a founding member of the church and has ministered throughout the
years as a teacher and counsellor. At this time, Gene teaches and
ministers in several capacities as well as leads the Evangelism Explosion
outreach ministry. His formal education was at Marshall University in
Huntington, WV where he majored in Art Education and minored in History.
Upon graduation, he returned home to Summersville and joined the family
owned heavy equipment business where he remained for 27 years. After selling
his business interests in 1998, he assumed a career as a professional
artist. Gene and his wife travelled to large cities around the United
States and participated in juried art shows before being called back to
Summersville to serve in their current capacity.
